Life Insurance TutorFreshman comp instructor, UALRR fall 2014-15. Tutor for Upward Bound, Veterans Upward Bound, U of A in Fayetteville, AR, Bronx Community College and John Jay College in New York City. I've also owned an art gallery and taught art classes at the Little Rock Arts Center. My experience as a teacher in various programs is driven by my passion for encouraging students to reach her maximum potential. I prefer non-traditional teaching environments as I find the students are more motivated to succeed, as opposed to the traditional learning environment. Currently I am a substitute teacher at Lisa West Charter Middle and High School in Little Rock, AR. My students and I have a great relationship and if anyone asks a student about me they would say that I am their favorite substitute. It's because I treat them with respect, and yet provide discipline if needed. For the last eleven years, I have been a financial services representative, licensed to sell life insurance, investment products, mortgages and long term care insurance. I have taken a year off because my daughter is a special needs child and I wanted to spend more time with her in helping her with homework. It has been a very rewarding year and I would like to continue helping students who need my care, guidance and knowledge.
